La Bohème Review
Rose Guccione sang the role of Musetta in a double cast production of La Bohème last month. A review by Dulce Arroyo appeared in the Arts & Life section of The NEIU Independent (see link for complete review):
Rodolfo and Mimi may have been “La Bohème’s” main lovers, but the hilariously dysfunctional couple Marcello and Musetta, played by a lively Wellington Da Silva and Rose Guccione, instantly became some of the crowd’s favorites. Da Silva and Guccione kept the audience laughing by providing comic relief with their constant outbursts against each other of fighting and breaking up, and then kissing and making up, pretty much like a verse from Katy Perry’s song “Hot’N’Cold.”
You are amazing! Sorry I didn't see you after but so excited to see and hear you last night! My fav was Je dis!
My husband Geoffrey and I thank you profusely for the invitation to that fabulous performance last night in Western Springs! You and your fellow performers were 'tres magnifique,' and we look forward to other invitations as well.

Hi Rose:
I've been meaning to send you an email for the last week and a half, but better late than never I guess.
I just wanted to tell you how wonderfully you sang on the program in Western Springs. The musical selections were absolutely perfect for you and I don't think I've ever heard you sing better. Your committment to the text and expression was moving, and your high notes…WOW!!!!!! Spot on, clear, pointed and full.
I just had to let you know how much I enjoyed it.
Greetings, Rose!
I hope to see you in Western Springs again this year – always excellent!!
